Grant Seton policy:
It's About Time for the Voting Age to Change in New Zealand says Candidate SETON for Tukituki.
Currently in New Zealand, you can vote when you're eighteen (18) years or above.
Getting enrolled should be done - as civics learning at school - from the age of ten (10) and activated with a simple check between IRD and the Electoral Commission - the technology can be linked, checked, activated !
Example: If you have a part-time / after-school / during-the-holidays job* as a youth - *would exclude your family's business (to prevent perception problems) - then you're paying tax and you deserve to be able to vote !
