New Zealand politics:
One Combined Election, three-yearly, preferred by Tukituki Candidate SETON
During my lived experience, New Zealand has had about twenty (20) local Govt elections and twenty (20) central Govt elections. That's about forty (40) elections to date. That frequency of elections is a What The !
At the moment we get two elections every three years, so moving to one Combined election every three years equals two continuous years without an election and that will be better for the economy.
The Electoral Commission should be running the Combined and not Local Councils, with their myriad of election types and counting providers, and ticks [and not rankings] should be the consistent voting rule, to keep it simple !
