How The MMP System of Voting Could Be Improved
MMP currently operates that you have two votes, one for the Electorate and one for the Party.
I would like to see more flexibility with your two votes !
So, instead of the one (1) option that you have now, there would be two further options !
(2) You can allow your two votes to go to the Electorate, even allowing a split between two Candidates
OR
(3) You can allow your two votes to go to a Party, even allowing a split between two Parties.
So, instead of ONE option with your TWO votes, you'll now have THREE ways to express your PREFERENCES !
And finally, Voting papers need to have a Photo of the Candidate standing, beside their name.
